Monday Weigh in!

Somedays I can have regular (meaning post-op size) meals, and some other days I can only eat tiny amounts and feel full very rapidly. When this happens I know for sure that hunger will come back as rapidly as 30 minutes after mealtime. If I'm home, I'll then have a snack but if I'm at work, It's a bit more complicated. Lightheadedness often happens in that type of cir****tances, usually around 3 or 4 p.m. (wich is tsunami time at work...no time for a snack). I've experienced hypoglycemia before, and lightheadedness wasn't one of my symptoms.. I usually experienced uncontrollable yawning and some hand shaking.

I'll still try to monitor my blood glucose and my blood pressure...cause my cardiac pulse at rest has dropped down to 50-55 bpm since surgery (vs about 72 pre-op).But pressure itself is usually OK, averaging 115/80 mmHg). But I'm still confident that those things will wear off as my body adjusts...

Hi gang!
What a great week for all of you!You are all doing so great and I am sure you'll all reach your mini and big goals. So far I think I am not doing too bad with maintenance. Last week I was up one pound and this week I am down 1lb. I have lost four pounds since we last seen each other. I am looking forward to having more people at this stage in the coming weeks!

Hi Brenda!

I can assure you that you're doing much better than "not too bad"!!! Being 9lbs under goal after 14 months is a great achievement...and +/- 1 lb variations is nothing to worry about!

You're an inspitation for all of us!!!

Congrats on breaking the stall Sarah and on surpassing your goal of 325.

Your new mini goal is definitely do-able by Christmas.

Well for me it was a good and bad week. The good thing is I started going back to they gym and was able to go 2 times last week. The bad news is that over the weekend I indulged in things I shouldn't have. Regradless of what happened over the weekend, I'm back at it this morning. It's a 1 pound gain on my side of things but it could have been worse had I not been so good all week.

Here's to being under 400 for next week's weigh-in. See you guys in the 300's...

I'm with the girls on this!...

You've set a tough agenda for yourself; going back to the gym is an excellent thing and please don't let that one pound bug you...you're doing great!

Derek, does your gym have an indoor pool?  I am still on the search for one.  I am thinking we will have to just go to the Olympic pool...

With my knee, that really is the only exercise that doesnt hurt :(

You will be in the 300s in no time D, and yes I agree about it being MUCH easier to fight food after surgery than before.

I just need to keep busy.  I find the cold weather is making me sedentary... which is no bueno! (not good)

Can't wait to see you all (or most of you all) on the 20th!!!
