Well maybe next time you come down I'll give you the 200$ so you can purchase 4 weeks of it for me instead of me driving to Mtl to pick them up. :D

No I didn't call. When the clinic calls me I'll ask them if I can pick it up anywhere else instead of driving 2 hours to pick some up. Thanks Doris.

The hospital in Montreal called today so I am officially on the list. She said 1 to 2 years.  Dr. Atlas office said less than 6 months. I wish they would get their act together. What point are you at.  It does get confusing..  Any dates yet.   Doris

i've been considering lap band for a while but was discouraged by the wait time...unless you were paying for it yourself and I can't afford that. Just wondering if the wait time has decreased? Also, how did you find your surgeon ... did you find one yourself? (I live in QC but my doctor is in Ottawa) Do you need a referral from your family dr?

I recognize the names of the Mtl surgeons from my research ... maybe I will try contacting them on Monday...
