Monday weign-in!
It's Monday again! Hope everybody had a nice weekend! Beautiful fall weather, wasn't it?. I got duties done on Saturday, and had a more relax Sunday...Brunch with family members (eggs benedict to die for!), then a walk in snowshoeing trails and game of basketball in schoolyard...
At last, I lost a couple of pounds (2.2lbs)... I'm kind of relieved. I'm working on evaluating the quantities of "regular" food I can/must have to maintain a heathy weight ("regular" meaning not having to rely on SF or FF products or protein shakes too often). I'd like to find to a way to maintain weight in everyday food. Lots of people succeed at this...maybe I can do it too?
Have a great week!

You're doing a great job too, over 100 lbs lost is an important achievement!
Talk about a balancing act! As much as I'm happy to have lost what I did, I begin to be a little scared to gain some weight back as the real challenge begins...The ghost of the chubby kid is still alive and well...I'll try to set short term goals for myself, with hope of insuring long term maintenance and Que sera, sera!!!

Congrats Joel on your lost this week...your goal is really near! I understand what you said on regular food... I am also trying to slowly start a transition between losing and maintaining, even if I am not at goal yet, I try some new food ( ones I restrained on during active weight loss) little bit at a time, and see what it does on my weight loss...
Saturday, went to my son's football game, and froze to death, even with multiples layers!!!
Sunday was yard work, and cooking and baking...don't know why, but I didn't bake during the past months since surgery ( I baked very often before ) and now I bake every week end! But I bake good healthy food.
I wonder why I am still losing good, even if I eat more and more ( relatively...). Maybe it's because I am more active everyday...
LW 167 CW 164 lost 3 lbs I am very happy, I was 163 when I met my husband 21 years ago! Never been there since...
Have a good week, and hope to hear from everyone of you!

Bonjour Diane,
Another 3 pound loss is amazing! You're almost at your lowest weight in since 21? That's just crazy. You must feel your 21 too. Keep up everything your doing. It's definitely working!

Another great week for you! Your continued efforts are certainly paying off! You're becoming a lean and mean calorie-burning machine 8-)
I'm still freezing to death too...I wear multiple layers even to watch TV at night
About my goal: I established the 190lbs goal myself...Doctors at Hopital Laval asked me a couple of times (pre-op) how much weight I wished to lose but never commented on my saying (I then thought I probably wasn't too far away from their estimation)...My one year follow-up should be in november...We'll see what the doc says...

Congradulation to Joel and Brenda, your successes are a source of inspiration for all of us. Your goal is so close.
I had an excellent weekend. As previously mentionned, we celebrated Xmas at my snowbirds parent's place before they leave for Florida until March. We really had a good time, the food was good (and I was good with food), I had 2 ounces of wine. It turned out to be a very nice party, played the guitard, sang and laughed.
I had a good week, I lost another 3.9 lbs.
Have a great week everyone.
Nathalie
BTW, I am Diane, not Brenda...( she is the one with her and her dog in her avatar...)
Have a nice week!
