Hello my friends, seems like everyone is on vacation today  for Thanksgiving...
It seems to me to be a good time to thank you for your support through this adventure, and to thank life ( and my surgeon) for all the good things the last year have given me. I think I should also thank myself, to have accepted the chance that was given to me and to have made the effort to make it work...

Beautiful weather isn't it?  A little bit on the cold side, but the sun and the fall colors are magnificent!

This weekend, since my husband was cleaning the backyard for the winter, I stayed inside and was in a cooking mode... apples, muffins, soups... hoped to freeze a little of those for winter, but my sons were all over, and nothing is left... I will do some more today...try to adapt my recipes,  I calculate calories and nutriments, and changed some things to have more nutrition and less fat, carbs and cal...

With this cold weather, my knee is really aching... I tought about missing the gym, as I would not be able to do all my routine, but I decided to go and do what I could. I am really proud of myself, as I am usually an "all or nothing" kind of person.

Still going well for the weight...LW 170 CW 167  - 3 lbs

Have a nice Thanksgiving everyone!

Way to go Brenda!!!

My week was not as good as yours. I lost 1 lb. At least it went down but I would have liked to see it going down more.

In relation to the food, I did everything right, however, I have to catch up with the exer**** I was very good when I was off from work but since I went back to work, I am having trouble finding a routine that includes exer****  I know that I have to move more if I want to see it going down faster.

Watch out for next week!!!

Hello,

This week is another not great one for me... I think I'm in a stall or something.
I'm going to try writing everything I eat down again this week, haven't done it in a long time. Maybe I'll spot the reason I'm not loosing.  Also need to move more I know. It's so hard to find the time to do it. I need to get an exercise buddy or something to help push me.
So no lost this week at all :(

Congrats Diane and Nathalie on your losts this week.
One pound is still a pound you are doing great !!
Another 3 pounds Diane fantastic, and great attitude on the gym, keep it up.

Hi everybody!

Nothing much to say...I've been at work all weekend and enjoying yardwork, wall plastering and painting since monday.

I weigh the same as last week. Looks like I'm stabilizing...I didn't indulge in anything but didn't deprive myself either...Trying to eat like "normal" people ;-)

Congrats to Diane and Nathalie!
Cindy: You're not alone!

Have a good one!

Happy Turkey Day everyone.....quiet in my neck of the woods. Had friends over and gave thanks to all of our 'blessings' in life. So once again I am sending out a heartfelt thankyou to all of you guys and the ongoing support I get here. I too have been trying to get my garden veggies in and prepped for the winter. As well as the many yard work projects to finnish up. It certainly has been raining and cold this past week. We actually fired up the woodburning stove on the weekend! I am not ready for cold and snow this year.
Well I loss one pound this week. I am staying around the 159-160 mark for the past three weeks. So far so good with maintenance. Congrats to all with the weight losses. Have yourselves a good week.
