Need Some info.

Do  any of you send in more than one referal to the surgeons in Quebec.  I am wondering if I should Fax some info to other Drs.  or hospitals. I feel like I am in Limbo.    Doris

If you know the surgery you want, I would call all the surgeons in the province that do that type of surgery and try to get a consult with them and explain the situation. Good luck Doris.

No its a follow up appt.  I am a patient of  Dr. Dent  for over 20 years.He was the one that set me up with the appt. with Dr. Atlas.  Even called him. sent the info to him.  They would do it in Ottawa if Quebec would just ok it.  The majority of all our appts. are sent to Ottawa. So I don't know what the big deal is.  Quebec pays for all our appts . We have to travel, to Shawville Hospital, Last week we went to Ottawa for eye specialist. Hull said for this type of eye problem   we had to go to Ottawa. I just can't figure out how they manage everything else. I am confused.    Doris
