Anyone going to be travelling to Ottawa next week?

Hi everyone,

I've run into a little snag on my transportation plans for next week.  My DH (that would be dick head) ex-husband will no longer be taking me for my surgery, staying with me or driving me back.

I am having surgery on Monday in Laval (Dr. Christou's clinic with Dr. Gagner).  I will be staying 2 or 3 nights in hospital.

I'm fine to drive myself, but they said I shouldn't driv home because of the drugs.  I was wondering if anyone was heading to Ottawa and could drive my van?

Or if you are more familiar with the bus / train - if there is anything convenient?

I found a bus to Laval - it would arrive at 9:25 a.m. and I need to check in for 10 so I;m not sure if that is enough time to take a taxi to the surgery clinic.

I would check via rail also Nancy. I know alot of people travel from Ottawa to Montreal that route. Not sure if there is a stop near Laval though. I hope your surgery goes well. Goodluck !
