Monday weigh in!
Finally, it is going down again. The previous week, it had only moved by 0.5 and I didn`t like it. Even if I was reading that around week 3 after the surgery, the majority of people experienced a plateau, it is still very difficult to see that you are doing everything right and not looking anything.
However, this week, it went down again. Last week my weigh was 332.5 and this week 327.8. I lost 4.7 lbs for the week.

That's great Nathalie. You are doing fantastic.
Keep up the great work.
I have been sick all week with a cold. And the cough just won't go away.
I lost another 4.5 pounds

So I'm happy with that. And I noticed that I wear a size 22 pants (sometimes) down from a size 30-32.
Have a great week everyone

Wow girls, you are rocking your sleeves!!!
Congrats Nathalie for your 4,7 lbs, and you see, last week was less, but in the long run it all adds up to a great loss! You are doing great!
Congrats Cindy, 4,5 lbs! And what a change to go for 30-32 to 22!! For me, it is almost more rewarding seeing sizes go down than only a number on the scale. Good work!
I don't know why but I am feeling a little down since a few days... maybe too much work or the fall weather or.... Saturday it was my older son's birthday ( my 2 boy's birthdays are only 1 week appart) so another cake and another restaurant...Ate some chicken wings and very fatty things...and cake... But I didn't want to gain, so I almost didn't eat sunday, except for a bowl of chips in the evening... I don't like that, I know it is not good, I did that in my old life, not eating meals but eating desserts and snacks instead. I realize that my old habits are not too far away... But I will try to get back on track today, go back to the gym ( had gone only once last week) and eating my three healthy meals and snacks. I know I can do it, but now that I am 20-25 lbs from my goal, and everybody telling me I am just right, I feel I can indulge myself now with less consequences... It is scary, because that's the way it always goes with diets, I was making all the efforts, but when the weight is gone, I stopped and started indulging myself, and gained back... I have to remind myself that this is not a diet, there is no stop to this, I have to make healthy choices... My restriction is still there, but I learned some ways to get around it ...I I think now the real head work is starting and the "honeymoon period" is over! Weight loss is only a part of this life long journey! But it is a great journey and a great thing to feel that I have the tools now to change my way of thinking around food and that I can do it. Before, it was too difficult, having to lose weight at the same time than changing all those habits at once. With the vsg, some habits changed during the weight lost phase, and now it will be easier to change the rest!
I am really surprised as I lost another 2,5 lbs this week !

Have a nice week everybody, and I can't wait to meet you all in person this friday!!

A -4.7 lbs week is a great week!
Not all weeks are equal...Make sure you remember about last week next time your scale doesn't display what you want it to. When it happens, take a few steps back and look at the big picture (what you've have achieved since you began this journey)...You're doing great!

Well hello gang, It is well past midnight here. Just got back from seeing a great chick film EAT, PRAY, Love. It was enlightening and to add to the pleasure we had a private screening. Soooo cool.
To save on a few lines, I will congratulate everyone on their individual successess. I did fine. My Surgeon's scale was one pound difference to my own. So I am at 160 lbs. Which was a good mark for me as it means my scale at the clinic and the one at the surgeons office differs by one half pound. He mentioned that I had losed 97% of my body fat. Tried to figure the was they do that but I only thought about it after I was out the door. The nutritionist was ok but inconsistence with her reasoning. I will be keep downing my own work.

Hi guys!
My week was not as good as yours (-0.2lbs)...and I'm totally responsible for that...
Had to deal with lots of head hunger episodes and had to eat more than usual at night. If I don't have a serious shack before bed time, real hunger keeps me awake...and I have to get up for a snack before returning to bed.
I also have to confess that I've had my first post-op Big Mac...without fries of soft drink. I was very curious to see what would happen...
It went down easily, I took about 30 minutes to eat it (I used to eat 2 of those in a couple of minutes). the last bites were definitely cold! Afterwards I felt like I had a five course meal, but didn't feel bloated. Needlees to say, I didn't have to snack before bedtime that night!
Gym training is going very well, strength and endurance are on the rise.
