I got a call - But not "the" call

Hi everyone,
I got my first call back from the Bariatric team at the Sacré-Coeur Hospital today. It was just to update my information and to tell me that they will be calling me shortly to see the nut, book my blood work and plan an information meeting at the hospital. Danielle, not Martine, told me that she expect me to be operated on early in the new year. I wi**** was sooner but every day I get closer.

I just wanted to let you guys know!

The good thing is that they are going to be doing the prep-work soon...too bad you have to wait for the next year... I was hoping for you (and for me too) that your surgery would be in 2010 and mine would hopefully follow soon after. But wait we must.

It is one step closer and that's what counts. So keep us posted and maybe they'll call you again before our meet-up on Oct.1st. That would be fantastic.

Derek that is great news! and one step closer to the big day. If this helps, pre-op blood work is good for three months hence you may still get surgery in 2010. The bad news.....you'll probably be on optifast during Christmas .... that would be tough no matter how excited you'd be for surgery.
