Well I finally weighed myself.

LW 275 CW 274 ( -1lbs)
Seems to be a little low, but slow and steady will win the race.... At least that's what I'm trying to tell myself.  I wonder if it has anything to do with al the smoothies i've been having.

Each morning I have been drinking a smoothie instead of eatign breakfast since the nut told me to eat within an hour of beeing awake. I just can't do it.
So I put about 5 Strawberries, half a banana, 3/4 cup of greek yogourt (liberte 0% fat) and 1 cup 1$ milk and some ice cubes. When I have protein powder I put a scoop in too.
That way I get more protein since the yogourt alone is 18 - 20gr.

Do you think this could be slowing me down with my weight loss? With all that fruit?

I confess I only did a workout once last week too. But I have been taking the stairs more at work and shopped a lot for my daughters B-day which was yesterday.

Congrats to you all for your great weeks.  You are all great motivators !!!

Have another great one everyone.

Hey there Cindy,
My opinion is that I don't think your fruit is the cause. I had many many many weeks where I only lost 1, 1.5 or 2 lbs in the begining. There are many changes going on in your body and it does take time for your body to adjust. This is the moment where you need to just have faith in your tool and the process. Keep your protein count up that is the most important at this stage of the game. You'll get there my friend.

Hi Cindy!

I'm with Brenda about the smoothies. The way you prepare them, they're high in protein, low in fat and contain good carbs, vitamins and antioxydants. This recipe is very well balanced.

It sure is hard to be convinced that "slow and steady goes a long way", but that remains the truth...Time is on your side!

I am also with my two friends, you are eating well,  and it is normal to have weeks with less lost. At your time, I was losing slower than now, I think because I had less musles, that helps speed up the metabolism.  Congrats on your workout, and exercise is exercise, no matter what kind... I'm in a shopping craze, I walk a lot in store and it is also a great exercise!!

Congrats Cindy!!

You guys are all doing an amazing job and you all seem to know how to "work" the tool. It really is very inspiring to see all of your accomplishments and to know that because of those accomplishments your smiles are a bit brighter your steps are a little lighter and you all genuinely seem so happy and that you are "living" your lives and not jus****ching it go by like I am.

Great job everybody and keep it up!!!

Hugs,
Ada
