Hopital Laval called!

Strangest thing happened a couple of days ago. I got a call from Hopital Laval  to schedule my appointment for a consult in bariatric surgery. I forgot about that referral.....I happily declined the offer so someone else will be getting a call soon. I then made a quick calculation and would you believe that the referral was sent over two years ago! I am just now getting a call for the first consultation. Then there is about another year wait depending on the surgery type and surgeon available. I found it kinda of funny that I got a call for surgery on the very same week I attained my goal weight! I am glad that I went the self pay route!    Just wanted to share :).

Hi Brenda, that's too funny. It's been happening in Ontario a lot too, due to mutiple referrals.
