Goal Achieved. Normal BMI :)

  I DID IT GUYS......had to yell that :). I still can't believe it. I reached my goal on August 15th hence exactly 11 months after surgery. I am still pinching myself.....I have lost 133lbs and feeling like my true self.  When I look at the pictures of me today I recognize the woman looking back. I wanted to post this victory and to also thank everyone on this board for there continued support. Non obese people just don't get the ahievement in our successes along this journey. My husband is still my number one fan though and he has been amazing....he surprized me this week with a beautiful diamond and saphire pendant to celebrate my achievement.  I was shocked and very deeply touched as he is a very down to earth practical kind of guy. No very romantic and this is the first piece of jewelry I have received in ten years. LOL. That made it even more special. So here is my happy dance.....

P.S. To Cindy, how long did you have to wait to get your surgery?  I've been waiting since dec. 08 and still no news on a surgery date anytime soon....

Anne I was on the list since Feb 08 and had surgery on May 25 2008. So just a little over 2 years.
Have you called Martine at the hospital to see how much longer.

I have to admit something to you...I am sitting here typing away and tears are flowing down my face as to how happy I am for you!!! Congratulations and you deserve all that life sends your way...jewellary and all...lol

You are so right about non-obese people not understanding what you have accomplished...but we understand...we applaud...we are always here for you!!!

Your husband sounds like a wonderful man and it shows his deep commitment to you and your goals!

Brenda, Brenda, Brenda!!!!! YEEEEEEAAAAAAAH! You are the best! you did it!  I can imagine how great you are feeling, I think I will be walking on a cloud for many days when I will reach my goal!
What an achievement in just 11 months... Would you have thought it was possible one year ago??
And your husband is so sweet...  I just told my husband that yours bought you a jewel, hope it will give him some ideas for when I'll reach my goal LOL  Cannot wait to see you in october!
