hi everybody, hope you had a nice weekend! Mine was not exciting but very productive... started to clean the basement, I want to set up a home gym in there someday...We had a water damage some time ago and all the gyproc and floor was removed, so we need to put new gyproc, paint, etc...

I like to keep this post alive, since it makes me more accountable...
I need some little goals, and sharing them with someone... here at home, no one understands why I am so happy when I achieve one of my little goals...

So my next goal is to have a BMI under 30, so I will be "only" overweight, and not obese anymore...

My BMI is now 30,4, I am soooo close!  I started with a 50 BMI...

LW 197,5 CW 194  -3,5 lbs

I started going to the gym everyday, but after 4 days in a row, I was having too much pain in the knee and back, I had to stop going for 3 days! Not a good idea... I think I'll stuck with 3 times, every other day... Much more reasonnable!

Have a nice week everyone!

((hugs))

Hi,

I had an ok week. I was on vacation again this week. Went to a friends cottage with my kids for 3 days. Did lots of swimming and even some peddle boating. I never would have done it last year.
I would be too afraid to tip it or not fit in it.
So that was fun. And an NSV.

But we also ate lots of stuff I would not normally eat....

But then I didn't eat for 2 days since I woke up Thursday in incredible pain in my kidney.
I was in the hospital on Friday and I have a severe kidney infection.
So I guess the food balanced it self out... lol

LW 283.5, CW 281.0  (-2.5 lbs)

I need to follow Diane's example and get some more exercise in. So hard to find the time.

Diane you are doing great. and sooooo close to BMI of 30.

have a great week

Thanks Cindy, and you are doing great also, already 71 lbs lost!!!!  Congrats for your NSV!! Isn't it great to be able to do more activities!!!

I am sorry you had a kidney infection... Are you sure you get enough water? I know that could sometimes lead to a kidney infection...

Some weeks are busier than others and  then I don't find the time to go to the gym, that's why I want an home gym...but  my sons are older than your kids I think, so it is less demanding... And I see that it helps tone and shape the body, so I try to maintain it. Try to find a little time for you everyday...even if it is just 15 minutes...I know it is not easy with kids, but it is important for you and your health...

Have a nice week!

Hi Cindy!

Congrats on the loss this week considering you had a cottage week. Those are always killer for me. We always eat horribly and often way too much and never on schedule. Being able to do some paddleboat is something I look forward too. Last year I tried with my gf and we had to put cement blocs on one side to balance it out and we never got it to work. :(

Keep up the good work and soon you will see that you'll be able to do even more activities than you were able to do before.

Congrats Diane on the loss this week. The gym will really help you out in the long run but don't over due it. Remeber you do have bad knees and you have to give your body some time to heal. Going once every 2 days is what I recoomend. As you start to gain muscle and endurance you can up your routine but for now, stick to going every 2 days and just get into a routine.

194 pounds is just a crazy number! CONGRATS!!! And a BMI under 30? Who would have thought it? AMAZING!!!

Keep it up girl!

Thanks Derek... I go to the gym 3 times a week since march 2010, and I figured I could be able to do more... with this weight loss and my new health and energy, I forgot that I am not 20 anymore! LOL

Are you enticing that when I finally get my surgery I will have to go 4-5 times a week because I'm in my 20's? LOL Just kidding. But I do plan on getting ripped and healthy after some of this weight is lost. I gotta compete with my brother who just graduated in Technique Policière. He's gained easily 20 pounds of muscle in the last year. I gained the same in fat... not as good to look at . LOL
