DS under RAMQ at Sacré-Coeur or elsewhere?

I'm still waiting for the call. It's been about 16 months so far since my consult. It's a long waiting game but it's worth it in the end. Hope you get a shorter time frame than me with Dr. Atlas. Good luck!

 That is way too long. Quebec is bad at putting on a waiting list and forgetting about. This has happened to me several times. Iwas suppose to have an appt in may When I called she said oh I just happen to have an ppt. next Tues. If you don't phone they forget about you. This has happened several times in the past year. Have you checked with them lately.

I know it's long but the reason for that is that so many QC residents want surgery but so little surgeons do them. My dr. for example only does about 2-3 a month. Last time I called in May there were 2 people ahead of me but the Dr. was off all summer for vacation. I was expecting a call by the end of summer and if I don't hear back from them by September, I will call them back.

By all means keep calling. Who is doing your surgery.

I am not being nosey How is your overall health.

Other than sleep apnea I have no health problems. I do weigh 410 pounds so that can't be good but no real problems... yet and I want to keep it that way.

My son had the Y He  has lost   a lot of weight. he looks 20 years younger.  I am opting for that one.anyway will know more after my consult.  I do have medical issues. High blood preasure, degenerative disks, I have shrunk 3 in.  Now I need a knee replacement but need to lose the weight first, I just found that out yesterday.  I weigh 224.   spread out all over my body.  

I'm pretty sure Dr. Atlas only does the VSG so you might be in for a surprise. It's like bringing your car to a garage to get an oil change but they only replace tires. Not the same thing in the end. I hope I'm wrong for your sake.

Do  you take vitamins daily.
