What are we eating Monday?
Should we try this again?
I'm now on solids, and soooo excited to be eating "real" food again. I'm struggling to get the recommended 6 "meals" in a day.
B: coffee, 1c cottage cheese
S: 1/4c applesauce
L: 85g of lemon-pepper tuna and 5 saltines
S: nothing, I have no more food with me, and caf is closed! Need to plan better.
D: 2 pieces of breaded fish (love the Blue Water garlic & herb), green beans
S: yogourt

It is so good to eat solid food after optifast, and the mushies diet!! Go at your own pace, some can do 6 meals, some not...
Monday:
B: kashi cereal with milk
S¨: raspberries
L: protein bar
S: 2 slices of capicollo
D: Tortellini with carbonara sauce
S: ice cream sandwich ( ok, nobody's perfect!!!)
Tuesday:
B: premier protein shake
S none
L: Capicollo slices, cucumber, cheese
S: raspberries
D: Homemade macaroni with tomatoes and ground beef
S: none...
Monday:

Diane I am so jealous that you can eat pasta. . It is the thing I miss the most. Liane you must be thrilled to eat real food. Just take in what you can and with time you'll be able to add on food as you go along; or I hopeso with your type of surgery. It took me 6 mths plus to get in all my foods and there are still days like today it is hard.

I looove rhubarb!!! I have a marvelous recipe of rhubarb and strawberries pie , but obviously won't make it this year!!
I eat a little bit of the pasta but mostly the meat, because I get too full... It's funny when I eat only the center of the tortellini! But I can't eat bread...It get stucked... Weird how each stomach is different!!
Wednesday eating:

L: 1 1/2 baby back ribs with bbq sauce, cherry tomatoes
S: satisfaction yogurt
D:turkey swedish meatballs with asparagus
S: will try protein ice cream that I made...if it is good, I'll come back with the recipe!
