Monday weigh-in !!
Hi guys!
One of the good things about weather this weekend is that this board has ben bubbling with activity! My weekend was unusually calm; kids were off to karate camp...time for a bit of yardwork (the dandelion situation is now under control ), enjoy long and quiet meals and do nothing...
Diane: We saved you a seat...Come and join us!
LW: 225.2 CW: 222.4 ---> -2.8lbs
Have great week!

Hey gang!
Quite the weekend, wasn't it? Doesn't feel too much like summer yet, but we'll get there.
Good job, both of you! Diane, you're sooo close the century mark, congratulations!
Me? Not so much ... I'm trying really hard NOT to be totally depressed, but the scale showed +6 this morning. Yep, you read that right.... PLUS 6.
*sigh*
I think some of it must be water retention .. I'm looking down at my feet, and they are really swollen. Could be that I'm getting more sodium than I am used to with all that soup ... and also heading into PMS land.
Ah well. I am seeing the nut tomorrow, and the doc on Wed - I'm sure he'll weigh me, so maybe I'll hold off on "counting" my weight until then ;)
Have a great Monday all.

Don't get discouraged Liane, if you are swollen, the weight will go up, water is really heavy...Like you said, try to lower the salt and it should go away. It is always difficult when the scale is not cooperative...Keep your head up girl, this water will go and you will lose big time!!

Thanks to both of you!
These days, my primary goal is to get more carbs in because I've realized that the low energy levels I have experienced these last weeks may be due to lack of carbs...Proteins build tissues but are not a good energy source...When I get more complex carbs in, I feel much more energetic. So for now, I'm working on getting enough fuel to get my job done. As sweet as Onederland probably is, I'm in no rush to get there...
