We too devoted part of the weekend to start up our vegetable garden. I just can't wait for my first homegrown tomato, between two slices of bread, with homemade mayo!

Congrats fot the constant weight loss...Your Québec relatives are in for a big surprise!!!

Edit: I've typed this message twice and it's still is misplaced! It was intended as a reply to Brenda's message...Hello Houston, we've got a problem!...

Joel, the same thing seems to happen to me when I answer someone posts, but after a few minutes, the post goes at the right place... don't know why!

Oooooh the homegrown tomatoes are sooo good! You almost made me go buy a tomato plant! But I know I will kill it, no green thumb for me! Hope my neighbours will have too much from their garden ...

Hi Brenda, 2,5 lbs is awesome! Your goal is coming near... And glad that you can see the benefits of all those efforts, in your renew strenght when you are gardening!

Many times in the past I tried to make a vegetable garden, in the first week, I check it , clean the weeds, etc... and I get tired of it and let go ! I don't have the patience it takes!!
Have a nice week!

Congrats on the loss everyone!

Liane, don't worry about not losing the first week. I've read it so many time in the past about how some patients actually stay or gain weight during their first week back at home. To me it sounds normal. You stop liquid diet and start eating a little bit of solid food, you're body is going to stock up. Give it a bit of time and you'll see next week it should be much better.

Keep it up everybody. I'm very proud of all of you for sticking with it. And Diane, good on you for breaking those little habits of yours. Those will go a long way in your weight loss process and in your life in general.
