What are you eating today Monday ??

I heard that it is important to plan our meals, to prevent grazing, or eating fast food because we don't know what to eat at the last minute...often my case!

So I will try to post my menu in the morning to force me to plan ahead... ( try is the key word here !!LOL)
B: always my protein shake
L: croque-monsieur without bread ( 2-3 slices of lean ham, with melted cheese and a slice of tomato.
Sn: cherries and maybe a light mini babybel
sup: marinated pork filet on bbq, with homemade tzatziki (with greek yogourt) and some grilled vegetables
Sn: 1 menu bleu M. Freeze-like ( made of fruit juice)

and you??

Mmmmm that all sounds so tasty! Not sure if there's much point yet in me listing out my meals at this stage of the game, but maybe it will be good practice for when I have more choices, so I'll give it a shot.

B: 1/2c apple juice
S: 1/2 PC High Protein Ultra Shake
L: the other half of the PC High Protein Ultra Shake
S: yogourt
D: 1/2c of strained cream of mushroom soup
S: 1/2 protein shake

I am not so disciplined in this area but will make an effort!
B-protein juice
whole grain bread about the size of palm of my hand with crunchy peanut butter
L sandwich from Tim Horton's ham and cheese. Ate one quater bread ww and dismentled the rest. Coffee with cream half hour later
S-Roast chicken thighs with sweet potatoe and zucchini
Sn-yogurt
next.....

Monday's food.

B. 1/2  cup corn flakes with 1/2cup 1% milk
L: 3 Soda Crackers with 1/2 high protein yogourt
Sn: 1/4 waterdown apple juice
D: 1/2 cup chicken supreme cup a soup
Sn: Strawberry Apple sauce cup

What kind of protein are you all using? I can not stand the BeneProtein I find it makes food taste and look different. What are the breakfast shakes? Are they like the Optifast ones?

Hi Cindy... The proteins shakes were really a big puzzle for me at first... In the first 6 weeks or so, I couldn't take any kind, they all tasted awful... But ,after a while, it was ok. So don't get discouraged if you don't like them at first. Maybe you'll have to taste a few before finding one you like... It is not completely like optifast, because optifast is more a meal replacement, it has more vitamins, etc in it and it is really expensive! Proteines shakes , in my taste, taste better than optifast. I use it to boost my protein intake, because it fill me up and it gives me energy. And as I still eat small portions, it is difficult fo me to get enough proteins in a day.
The ones I like are: Whey gourmet ( because they have many flavors) like oreo,raspberry and orangesicle. I buy them at GNC a protein shop you find in many shopping centers.
And the whey isolate powder vanilla or chocolate I  buy at costco.  I don't like the beneprotein, I too find that it changes taste and consistency.

But the best of the best is PREMIER ready to drink chocolate protein shake from costco. You buy it in 24 pack, it is I think like 300 ml, and contains 30g of proteins. It is almost half your needed proteins for a day, and it tastes like real chocolate milk ( well, almost!) and it is easy to take to work . Hey, I look like a salesperson !!LOL No I don't work for Costco !! But I like their shakes!
