Band in Montreal ?

I am having the lap band procedure on July 14th. I was originally on a waiting list for Dr. Cristou that was between 5 and 7 years! His receptionsit suggested that I contact Dr. Atlas and Dr. Jetté. I tried Dr. Atlas' website and they never responded to me. I sent an email to Dr. Jetté and he wrote back right away. He told me that his waiting time was between 4 and 10 months. I called his office and booked a consult right away. True to his word the procedure is being done within 9 months of my consultation. The procedure and band are fully covered by RAMQ!
Since the consultation, I have attended all of my pre-op testing and the info seminar. The people at Pierre-Boucher are wonderful. I speak some french but don't have the most complete medical vocabulary. They are very patient, and we manage to communicate to my satisfaction. I am very confident in their team.
