Hi everyone,
I thought we should put up a thread for Liane who should soon be out of the recovery room for her lapband procedure. She is our next up and coming stars like Brenda, Joel, Diane and all the others out there who are rocking their surgery. I'd like to be the first to congratulate Liane on joining the gang on the Loser's Bench.

Awww... you guys are so great!

Well, I made it :) Everything went really smoothly, got home yesterday afternoon around 4. Sore, yes .. thank heavens for dilaudid! The hardest part yesterday was only being able to have an ice cube OR 30ml of water per hour. I was soooo thirsty all day...

Today is better, getting the right amount of liquids in, moving around every hour or so and sleeping on and off.

Congrats on finally getting it done Liane! So they say the first few days are the worst and you're just cruising along. Good for you. So what's the restriction like? How many CCs did the fill your band to?

I don't think I have any fill yet. Dr. Atlas told me on Tuesday that I'd be coming in for a fill in August. Seems a long way away, though? I guess we'll see.

I feel restriction now, I think - it's hard to tell whether I'm just sore, or whether I can actually feel the band. I do know that after 1/4 cup of yogourt, I feel full! It's a challenge eating often, I'm going to have to get better about that.
