Hi everybody!

I hope you had a nice weekend. Happy belated Mother's day to moms on board! Saturday and sunday have been quite chilly in "coeur du Québec"! I went for a walk yesterday afternoon (to burn off a part of the brunch) and had to wear a wool cap and winter gloves! Mother Nature provided us with a mix of rain and freezing snow but nothing has stayed on ground.

Weight-wise, this week loss is quite humble even if I've been a good boy...It doesn't really bother me because I feel I continue shrinking. Jeans bought 2 weeks ago already are looser.

LW 239.2
CW 237.4.....-1.8lbs

Have a great week!

P.S.:How are our Optifasters doing?

What a difference a few (wink) miles south makes!  It has been over 90 here - no coat and gloves for us!

Congrats on your continued loss.  You are doing great!!

I promise, you don't want to transfer.  By next month, it will be so hot you can't stand to be outside and that will last until Novemberish.  Granted, November through April are mostly nice here, so wait to transfer until November.

Hi friends!   I don't like those freezing days... Especially since I have less insulation!!  and I don't have a warm coat that fits and don't want to buy one now!!  I will have to move to Houston!  This has been a good week, but the weekend... Been to the restaurant 2 times, eat a donut that my husband bought ( because it had the Canadiens sign on it...we needed to encouraged them LOL)... I was going well ( lost 4 lbs til friday) but gained 1 in the weekend??

LW 245

I think moving to Houston is an excellent idea - I'm in!!!

3lbs - well done!

I'm so excited/nervous about the game tonight I can hardly stand it ... wonder how many calories I burn jumping out of my seat or throwing my hands up in the air?!

Hi!

You did great! Losing 3 pounds, enjoying life and supporting our home team looks like a perfect combo! And you're right, less insulation sometimes can be bugging...Because of a/c at work, I now have to wear a t-shirt under my shirt to avoid freezing...Sometimes my hands are so cold, I can hardly hold my pen!

Hi Joel!

Wasn't this weather crazy!? I was out and about yesterday, and I can' t believe it started snowing again in the afternoon.

1.8lbs is nothing to sneeze at, well done!

Optifast is going well, I'm really thankful that I get to have veggies twice a day. I had my sister over for dinner and the game on Saturday night, and I made a ratatouille. It was great being able to feel like I was eating real food while her and my husband had ribs and potatoes ;)
I'm having a hard time fitting the 4th shake in some days, I have to get better about that. I've never been a breakfast person, and I tend to have the first one around 11AM.

LW 365
CW 357
-8lbs

(I know it's ridiculous, but in some ways I think "only 8lbs!? I hear other people have lost xxx in the first week of liquid diet. I'd better get over that attitude FAST!)

Congrats 8 pounds is a lot! I know it is so difficult not to compare to the others... and even compare to ourselves ( like I lost 20 pounds the first month, why only 12 this month ??) I have to always reframed my mind that I won't have lost anything if I didn't have the surgery, and this is not a race, but a life long journey. Maybe some loses many pounds in a week, but the other weeks, maybe they wont... Everyone is different, but every pound lost is one lost forever!

I am too really stressed about the game tonight... but I don't think that counts for Cardio.LOL

Nice going Liane!

8lbs is a lot of weight lost in a single week! And you will probably lose a few pounds during game #7!...Just imagine semi-finals!!!
