Another gastroscopy coming my way...

Hi all,
back in november 08, I started having stomach problems and was hospitalized for 9 days: diagnostic- ulcers.  Now, 3 weeks ago, pain again, back in hospital for the night, same problem...  Since then, have stopped drinking pepsi and that helped a lot and have meds to take to heal my stomach.  Saw the stomach surgeon today, he wants to do another gastroscopy on me on may 19.  The results will tell if I should go ahead with vsg or post pone it for awhile.   I'm so discouraged right now....  I have been waiting for so long that I don't want to have to wait any time longer.  And tomorrow, I'm going to see my PCP to find out if I have PCOS(had ultrasound done last month and dr. called saying that he needs to see me) Soooo, I'm telling you, this week is not my week even tough it's my b-day on Thursday the 6th, will be turning 37 yrs old!!!
Anyways, wish me luck and send good vibes my way that everything turns ok and i can still go ahead with vsg.

Anne, I am here for you. Don't despair. I remember the feeling all too well when I had to delay surgery. But stay hopeful. It is your health we are talking about and if they suggest a delay it is in your best interest. Keep us posted. Sending you virtual hugs!

Hi Anne, hope your visit with your PCP went well... Don't be discourage... You better have all the tests, and have a safe surgery, even if it is a little postponed, than having it sooner and having complications after...I am sure everything will be for the best... Keep us posted!

Thanks everyone for your replies,
my  appointment with my PCP went well (I think...),  It seems I don't have PCOS so that's good.  Have to have another ultrasound done next week to make sure my uterus is ok after my periods but it should be fine.  My dr. gave me a prescription for ANOTHER pill for my diabetes though cause it's still too high.  Hope it will resolve after my VSG.  I am now up to 3 different kinds of pills for diabetes, hope the new one works!!!   And I have to go get some blood tests done to make sure the rest is ok.  
As for my ulcers, I will know more on the 19th of May, after my gastroscopy is done.  I will keep you updated.
