Well, despite the great weather and outdoor cleaning, it has not been a great week for me...It is my lowest lost to date... I didn't change anything in my eating, and continue to go to the gym 3 times a week...Guess it is normal to have weeks like this... hope to do better next week!

Hi!

As ex-president Clinton would say: "I feel your pain Diane!". I've lost a whopping 0.2lbs this last week...I think I've enjoyed entering the Century club a bit too much!! I clearly have been a bad boy (not much exercise and a few extras...). Old habits die hard...Time to get back on track and work those extras out!

HW 347lbs
SW 345lbs
LW 243.6lbs
CW 243.4lbs.....-0.2lbs!

*OK Bren get a grip* (she says to helfself)
Hello everyone! Well I am down 2lbs and thrilled. I am at work so I cannot add a dancing smily to my post. But you all can picture it right?! Good.
Diane, you're doing great and you'll have weeks where you'll lose 5-6lbs and then the body needs to somehow readjust itself before it loses again. It will continue to go down but I know that sinking feeling when we get on that darn scale with so much enthusiam looking for a good loss and we find a midiocor loss. That feeling will pass and probably come back again in this journey of ours. This is why support is so important. We are there to help each other through these ups and downs.
Joel, It is your big heart this week that got in your way. I just know you wanted to wait for me. You were just too lonely in the century club...LOL Next week you'll see you'll lose big time. Have a great week guys!
Hoping to hear from others....
Any ideas on a thread we and the newbies can post weekly?

You're right Brenda!
I've figured I could stay at 243.x another week so I could stick a foot in the doorway to keep the door open! (and be somekind of well-educated loser! )

Welcome to the weigh-in Cindy! You'll see, with the optifast, pounds will fly away.
And Brenda, congrats on joining Joel in the century club!  Hope I will be joining you, but you can close the door for now, I've still got a few months to go...LOL

Cindy: Good move! Everything that can keep you motivated is excellent!

Diane: Come on over! (or is it under!?!?). After all, the more, the merrier!

My reccomendation is to change it up. As strange as it seems, if you will eat more for a day, whatever you want, it will jumpstart your metabolism and get you losing again. That is what works for me!

That's what I did... Remember I said that I wasn't able to lose if I ate more than 500 cal and 20 carbs a few weeks ago... Since two weeks, I am more hungry, and started to eat more, like 700-800 cal and 40-60 carbs always with more than 60g proteins... And one day, I ate pizza and chocolate cream pie, to try... But nothing... no lost. Today, I even regain the half pound I have lost last week... I continue to exercise and the only problem is that I cannot drink more than 5 cups of liquids per day... I try to drink more... I am getting a little bid discouraged, because it is my first major stall and I also feel tighter in my pants... I don't think I will be able to go back to 20 carbs and 500 cal...I am really more hungry now and can eat more now ( 12 weeks out)
Is it normal to be hungrier at 3 months?
Hope the weight loss will resume soon !!
