Monday weigh in...

Yeah for the new century club member!!! In less than 5 months!!!! Great way to go, congrats!!

And our first Century club member is.......Joel! What an achievement. You did it! I am so happy for you and anxiously awaiting to join you so you won't be too lonely there on your own.LOL :)

Wow!!! What can I say...congrats to all of you for all your wonderful ahcievements!!

It's so very hard keeping it together on this side when all I want is to be on the losers bench with you guys. I'm usually sooooo patient and so positive but lately...

Diane---> Just wondering how you're doing with your knees? I'm having such problems lately it's so hard staying positive.

 I know how it must be difficult to see other lose and still be on the waiting line... and not feeling good..But your time will come... since when are you waiting??? 
My knees are much better, I can walk 40 minutes, I do elleptical for 15 min and bicycle 25 min at the gym without too much pain. I still have pain when I go shopping ( walking and standing still) and when it rains,I have pain in the night. But it is like 70% better ! I don't use the cane anymore and  I don't take pills for it anymore. Sure I will need knee replacement, but I think I will be able to wait a few more years. And it gets better everyday. So don't get discouraged , better times will come...

That's so fun to hear Diane. I know the weight is always something we look at because it's something we can measure but I feel that the little things like not needing a cane or pills anymore surpass any weight we can lose. I can't wait to see what my weight loss will do for me.

In total since I called the first Dr. for an apt. it's been over 3 years. Since that never materialised I needed to look elsewhere and found Dr.Garneau and I've been waiting from my consult that was in Nov. 09.

It seems that for some people a few months wait and for others alot more...I wonder what they base it on if anything.

I can't wait to be able to walk without help and for more than a few steps at a time and to stop taking all these pills...!!!  It's discouraging because I want to do more like walking but I just can't.

Well...I just need to stay positive and lean on my on-line family.
