Monday weigh in...
Hi, beautiful sunny monday morning today! Been spring cleaning this week-end, as it was rainy and cold... Even if this forum seems a little sleepy nowadays, I continue the monday weigh-in tradition... Hope we'll have new losers on the bench soon to join us!
I reached my mini-goals of having BMI less than 40, being under 250 and having less than 100 lbs to lose !!! It's been a great week ! My next mini goal is reaching 85 lbs losts, half of my excess weight! 13 lbs to go...

LW 253.5
CW 248 minus 5.5 lbs !
Brenda and Joel, are you members of the century club now??

Woohoo - a hat trick!!! Congratulations, you must be thrilled. So inspiring! I'm so looking forward to joining all of you on the bench soon ... I'm in the countdown to the pre-op liquid diet (start that May 1st). I suppose I should go out and buy a scale. I picked up a Magic Bullet Single Shot at Canadian Tire, and considering getting another one so I have one both at home and at the office instead of having to lug it back and forth.
Thanks! Great idea having 2 magic bullets... Be sure to buy a scale before you begin your pre-op diet, because you'll see, the weight starts to go off pretty rapidly during this diet! And don't forget to take before pictures and measure yourself, you'll be amazed when you'll see yourself changing so rapidly. Your new life is coming!!
Oh yessss.... I prefer setting mini goals, because I am the kind of personn that want it all NOW , and if I just see the big goal, I will discourage myself because it is too far away. But with those more accessible goals, I am proud of myself , and it helps me being more patient toward the big one!!!
You are going well too Michele, way to go... we are going to be very pretty chicks this summer!!!LOL

Hi gang! Reading this thread is very invigorating! What a great bunch of losers!
Diane: Nice 5.5lbs loss...Your positivism is contagious, please infect us all!
Brenda: You're in Onederland!!! Your efforts are paying, congratulations!!!
HabsChick: A magic bullet is a good piece of equipment when planning to leave the farm team for the big league...Keep us posted!
Michele: Great progression, you're really working that sleeve!
And, , as of this morning, I now am a (proud) member of the Century club...Both of my scales agree on the subject. I've ben away from home this weekend, had to eat in restaurants and I was a bit anxious about weighing-in this morning...But the 243.6lbs did put a smile on my face, as did the 17 1/2 dress shirt (down fron 20) I bought this saturday...
Life is sweet these days ! I really appreciate this board and its members, thank you!
