Quebec Medicare won't pay?

Hi!

I didn't want to go through all the hoops and have to wait years to get my sleeve, so I went and had it done in Mexico. It cost 10k, and worth every penny. It was an amazing experience and I wish I had done it earlier. Tomorrow (July 18), I will be 11 weeks out and have lost 48 pounds.

82 lbs.  It is evenly distributed so it dosn't show in just one area.  I have hypertension compressed discs  and ostio arit and a few more.  my BMI is 36.7.  My general health is very good.  I have been taking vitamins and supplements for over 20 years.   This photo  of my and hubby was taken last year.  My  letter of referrel has already been sent I have an appt. Aug 30 in Montreal.   I did notice that some Drs.  have 65 as the highest but some have 75.   I guess it depends on your health.  The only thing I feel might hold me back is my age.  Heck I feel like 50. lol  If only they would let us go to the USA or to Ontario.   Quebec is so backward. They take patients from Ontario and from US but don't want us to go there.  My son lives in Ontario and he had it done 1 1/2  years ago. No problem getting in.
