Hi everyone! Had a nice weekend, hope you had too! I continue to work out at the gym, 3-4 times a week, even if my knees are killing me after! I also walk 4-5 times a week. That's good for me, since I wasn't doing anything before... I feel in better shape already! When I did the fit test at the gym last week, my "physiological" age was... 66 !!! OMG, and I am going to be 45 this wednesday.... That gave me a shock!! and the push I need to continue working out !

Lost 3 lbs this week, not too bad...I want to achieve a 40 pounds loss ( after surgery) for my two months surgiversary friday... need 3 more pounds till then...hope I'll get it !

have a nice week everybody!

Wow Diane, you're on fire!

All this working out and walking  will surely pay off! You're getting younger and younger...And, by the way, happy birthday!!!

I've had a good week. My scale indicated 254 this morning, a nice 6 lbs drop after 2 slow weeks...I think forcing myself to drink less milk and more water helped me. I'm now working towards getting in the Century club for my 44th birthday (at the end of april). I sure hope "Dame Nature" will give us a break on snow and rain, so I can "play" outside!!!

Have a good week everyone!

Six pounds is awesome Joel. You are only 9 pounds away from hitting your goal and I know you can do it. It's amazing what this surgery can do for some people. Losing 6 pounds a week at 4 months out would be a huge accomplishement if it was me. Keep it up! Looks like some crazy hot weather coming for this weekend enjoy "playing" outside. I may go play a round of golf myself.

Congrats Diane! I'm sure you will be able to hit your mark by this Friday. Healthy eating and some excercise will do it for you!

As for me, it's was a roller coaster week. I weighed in at the beginning of last week at 402.2. Tuesday I went back on the diet and Thursday morning I weighed 399.6. Friday morning 397.4 but Saturday morning before leaving to Montreal I was 400.2. :( After lots of food and WAY TOO MUCH drinking this morning I weighed in at 402.4 so I'm .2 pounds over last weeks weigh-in. So my plan now is to stick to this diet at least until April 8th (30-day "on" the diet and my bro's b-day). My goal is still 380 but I'm afraid I won't make it. 11 days left. If I can lose 2 pounds per day I should be able to hit it. I just have to stick to it. People have already been noticing the slight weight loss so it feels good. Can't wait to see what I'll look like in 11 days. I'll take some mug shots tonight.

Here are my numbers:

Start Weight: 414 lbs.
Last Week: 402.2 lbs.
This Week: 402.4 lbs.
Next weeks goal: 390 lbs.
Goal Weight for Surgery: 380 lbs.

Loss this week: +0.2 pounds :(

Great Joel, 6 pounds! Even at 4 months... I am early on, hoped to lose like you, but it seems I am going to stay on the 2-3 a week... But men lose more rapidly than women they say (grrr hate those hormones!) LOL You'll be in the century club soon!  Thanks for the birthday wishes. It will be strange thought not having a birthday cake...

Derek, I am proud of you for getting back in the wagon... Many would have let go after having some days of eating more... And you gained 0,2 !!! My scale is not even able to count those... You have still lost 12 pounds from the beginning, and not gaining those back... Great!

Aren't we a great gang of losers!!!

I've got a nice digital scale that goes in .2 increments. The max weight is supposed to be 400 but i saw it actually go up to 405.6 once so I've got some leverage. That is a good way of seeing things. Now it's really 12 pounds gone for ever and counting. I hope to be in Ketosis sometime soon. Have a great week gang!

Hey Derek!

I think you're doing a great job...Isolating yourself from meeting people because of your diet wouldn't have been a good idea. Dieting is a tool, and shouldn't be a torture!

Hi everyone! Was able to get some snowshoeing in even though I am about sick of snow right now. I hate March and April in Gaspé. Everywhere else you smell spring but we are still stuck with winter. Although this year winter was extra mild. Diane here's to a pre happy birthday to you. Mine is on the 24th of April....and you Joel. You mentioned the end of April. Derek hang in there. I think you are doing awesome for someone that doesn't have the 'tool' to help them along. Well here are my stats..........they are gooooood this week

minus 6 lbs! Go figure with the 2lbs gained last week. It is mind boggling. I am now at the -94lbs. Blows my mind. My goal was reaching onderland by my birthday. I think I will be achieving that if I don't hit a plateau. I am just so happy right now I am babbling. I took some new pics so I'll post them tonight from home. I am still at work. Have a great week y'all.

Hi Brenda!

Please, don't question this week's score! Just enjoy it...You made it happen!

I'm sick and tired of winter too...Snow was falling as I got up this morning...I really look  forward to getting my Mustang out of storage...BTW, I intend to have joined the Century club by April 29th.

Keep up the good work!
