Monday weigh-in !!
Hi gang! I had a great week-end, going to movie ( fitting in the seat!!) eating with friends and going to the restaurant... Tomorrow, I am going back to work, hope somebody will noticed my weight loss!
I don't do enough exer****s though, I am thinking seriously about joining a gym, and my 16 YO is interested too. Always more motivating when we are 2. I am feeling soooo good now... and here are my stats!

Wow Diane those are just fantastic numbers. I knew the weight was going to start melting off at one point. It is a great feeling when we start feeling like we've lost like when you actually fit in those darn movie seats without having to squeeze into them.
As for me, the "diet" week was pretty easy (touches wood). I haven't had a sip of a Diet Pepsi in 7 days and for me it seams like a lifetime. Going from 1.5 litres a day to ZERO is a lot to handle. I have allowed myself 1 pop per week but so far I have yet to have one. We'll see how long that lasts. Cheat wise, I had a bit of authentic chinese food on Tuesday and Saturday I had some ribs with sauce and a little pit of pasta salad, potatoe salad and chick peas salad. It was my mother-in-laws bday so I didn't want to be rude but I didn't have a single slice of cake even though it was my favourite, chocolate cheesecake. :( One thing however that was a big motivation was the fact that I can stand on ONE scale again. My 400 pound limti scale goes to about 406 so I tried just for fun on Saturday and it said 403. I was sooooooooo happy! Who would have thought that one day I would be happy with 403 as a number? LOL Anyways, considering Saturday was a little bit of a cheat day I feel very good this morning knowing that I'm still in full ketosis and melting away. My next goal, BE IN THE 300's. I should have this one in the bag by Wednesday if I stick to it. I've got hockey for 3 days straight now.
Here are my numbers:
Last Week: 414 lbs.
This Week: 402.2 lbs.
Goal Weight for Surgery: 380 lbs.
Loss this week: -11.8 lbs.
I knew this diet would work, I just have to keep at it.

OMG Derek, 11,8 lbs!!!! That's great! Sure you will be in the 300 this week, isn't it great? It's ok to cheat sometimes... You haven't had surgery yet, and many peoples do food funerals before surgery, you know, eating this and that for the last time... and end up gaining weight before surgery. If you do your diet, and indulge sometimes, I think you will be less prone to do that, and sabotage your efforts. You are doing great, congrats! I am jealous with my 6 lbs LOL ( no, no, I aim 4 pounds per week, so everything more is a gift!)
Have a great day!
Have a great day!
Thanks Diane. I'm sure I'll do the "food funeral" too but for me, as long as I'm smaller than I am now, the better it will be when it happens. I remember fighting to stay in the 300's instead of fighting to get in. It's so much easier to fight to get in. First I was fighting to fit on one scale and I've done that in a week. I was aiming for 2 weeks so 5 days is awesome. Now I'm aiming to be in the 300's by Wednesday. If not, 7 pounds in 7 days is my next goal. I think they are both reasonable goals for someone who eats 600 calories and less than 5g of carbs per day. Bring on week 2!!!
