Congrats Joe! I think 6 pounds is the best number we've had so far. That's what I'll be aiming for after surgery too.

Derek----> I'm not so sure that my net loss is 6 pounds since 2 scales have been used...These days, I loose 3-4 pounds a week...
But if the doctor says 265 pounds now...it's more than OK with me!

Congrats on your current weight loss Deborah. It is very liberating to come out in public and state our current weight. It can make us feel so much better (or worse) in some cases. Keep it up!!!

Wow,  a great gang of "losers" LOL, congrats everyone!

Joel, 6 lbs! wow, and what an accomplishment since the surgery, around 80 lbs if I am counting right! Keep up the good work!

Deborah, welcome and congrats! i am a week ahead of you and lost 26 lbs, you'll beat me soon!

Brenda, like you said, a lost is a lost, and 1 pound is great, it's 1 pound you will never get back... And I found that when I lose more weight, I lose more inches, so get prepared for that new clothes getting too big! LOL

Ok, my turn:

LW 278
TW 273
so minus 5 lbs.... hope to be in the 26something next week!

Hi guys

I didn't weigh myself before driving up north (remember I have no scale up here!). Honestly I'm a little thankful for the pause since I've been losing rather slowly and driving myself crazy weighing alllll the time. I'll post this weeks number on Friday when I get back to Montreal.

Vets-- do you think not taking in enough water could effect my weight loss? It sounds like a redundant question it's just the only thing I can think of-- I would post on the main forum but I'm more comfortable here and honestly I'm a little scared of the Old Medic character :)

Be well
