pneumology tests

Yes my company does it but I need a prescription from my pneumologist so he can come adjust... Have to wait for that appointment... Praxair has many selling points in Quebec and  can come home, Biron ( private lab) can also offer a service like that. But you need to have a prescription first, then they can do all the testing and evaluation and adjustements.

But if you already have a machine doesn't it mean you have a prescription? 

Yes, but my prescription is 8 years old, and it stated that my pressure should be at 10, so they cannot change it. If I had an "open" prescription" that said that they can adjust the pressure depending on the symptoms, I will have no problems.

Ok. So maybe when u do meet them u can explain that u had surgery and might need to adjust it in another couple of months. Good luck.

oh wow - I had no idea you could do the sleep test at home...i was always putting it off because i know i won't be able to fall asleep at a hospital.  who does the test? do you just get a referral from your doc?

I did get his referal from my Dr but I don't think you need a referal to call him. The name of the company is CPAP Outaouais and his name is Rock Lalonde. His number is 819-665-4260. It takes about 1 week for the appointment and about 2 weeks for the results. Let us know how it turns out!
