Hi everybody...I'm...
Thanks everyone !!!
If you can loose enough weight to be under bmi of 50 go for it. The nut actually suggested the same thing.
Not sure I mentioned it before, but she also said you are allowed all the low sugar vegetables you want. Just no salt or seasoning. Only steamed or raw and lemom juice on them is ok.
So no corn, or potatoes.
But all you can eat cucumbers, brocolli and peppers!
I need to find which vegetables are low in sugar to get ready!

Cindy,
Here's a list I got from when I used to be on a low-carb diet.
All these were ZERO tolerance.
Artichokes, Beets, Brussel sprouts, Carrots, Corn, Green Peas, Hearts of palm, Leek, Okra, Onions, Potatoes, Pumpkin, Rutabaga, Snow peas, Squash, Turnips, Vegetable Soup and V8.
All these were FREE to have as many as I wanted.
Alfalfa, Celery, Chicory, Cucumber, Endive, Lettuce (All varieties), Mushrooms, Parsley, Radishes, Spinach and Watercress.
Hope that helps.
Well Derek, not only you are the only man here, but you are the only Sens fan it seems... Go habs go!!!
For the optifast, I just dropped to BMI o**** the week I saw Martine for the pre-op, so I had 2 weeks only ( that was really enough!) So try all you can before you get your date to lower your BMI...
