LOOKING FOR SLEEVE SURGEON IN MONTREAL

I have been on the site looking for a surgeon for a friend of mine but have been unsuccessful. My friend has seen my progress and is interested in the VSG but in Montreal. Is there someone that can send me a list of surgeons that do the sleeve in Quebec. Thanks

No date yet, just that it would take 10-12 months. So should be December - February. You?

HI, I had a revision in Feb 2008 and a vertical gastric sleeve done, lost absolutely nothing and then waited three months to have gastric bypass on June 2008 and have lost 33lbs in 6wks and so happy to have done the switch. It was done by Dr Jette, on the south Shore. Hope this helps. Alba

The team at the MUHC (currently at the Montreal General I think) is good.  I had mine done with Dr Court.  Get a referral from your GP, RAMQ should cover it if your BMI is over 40, or over 35 with comorbidities
