Back from the Dr. Office

Hi Everyone, I just got back from Dr. Atlas and he said that I am a candidate for the surgery and that I qualify for it. He said that the hospital will contact me to do the pre op test, (not sure what that means) and he thinks that if all goes well, I might be able to get my surgery in mid-September. I hope this means that I am on the list now. He his very nice and ask if I knew what I wanted, I told him that I wanted the VSG and he said that, that would have been what he would have recommended for me. He then began to explain the procedure and saw that I was quite informed about it. He said that he had nothing else to say since I seemed convinced and prepared about the type of surgery and than he approved of it. Thank you again and I will keep you posted. I never taught I would be so happy and look forward to being the best loser in town!!!!! A weight loser that is!!!

Hello, I was curious to know what the VSG was , who does it anh how much does it cost? I had a lap-band last July in Montreal, and I am very happy with it. Just curious. Where are you in Canada?
