Thanks Butter, so smooth and creamy. Nice to see you again. Are you considering my offer of assistance?. I just returned to the boards last week. Had a busy and productive life in the meantime. Got my MS and my MBA, considering my PhD. Got a new job and moved to Chicago, got married too. Was too busy to post but I have always had something nice to say when I was here. I have seen so many of these people be so successful. When you go away for a month or a year at a time and then see the difference it is incredible.
Always an optimist though and yes, I was first here. I remembered when people were here to help and it was a fun place to come.
Hoping that we can get to be friends.

Wow, talk about a voice from the past! You look terrific, hon! I remember that smile! Hope all is going well for you, and need you ask, to join us? We are trying to iron out a few wrinkles, with our trash, but this is a great place! Now those WERE the, "Good old days," heh?

Marcia, what happened, to the Vets part of Ron's board? I might think about going there, is the Vets forum, was still there! That way, we could have our Vets, and also, if we wanted to help the Newbies, fine!

Topic: What a beautiful Monday!
Ok Friends,
We have the opportunity to make this a beautiful week. Let's do it! We have been with OH for such a long time, and we can weather any storm. Call me an idealist, but I still believe OH when they tell me that we will soon have private forums. When that happens we are golden.
I started at OH as a newbie trying to decide if WLS was right for me. I found answers, and friends, and lifelong friendships. I give and receive support when needed. I have lots of fun. And sometimes I get feisty about things.
Overall it has been a fantastic journey, and I refuse to walk away for some momentary discomforts. I HATE the nastiness and filth that was spewed over the weekend, and I refuse to respond to that feline poster, regardless of how provoked. She doesn't deserve my time and energy. And believe me, I have typed so many really nasty posts this weekend, just to delete them in the preview stage. Thank goodness for that.
I hope you all have a fabulous week! I am on liquids today to stop my grazing snacking habits. I really need support this week - seriously. I have been out of control with eating this weekend, and it is obviously stress related. I can conquer this but I do ask for your help, love and support. We NEED each other. We are a family here.

Thank you, Renee! We will get past this, and I actually have faith that OH will do the right thing. They promised private forums at some point, and hopefully that will be soon. Each surgery is so different, and it is nice to have a place for grads to just talk about their own long term journey.
