Frances, I'm glad that your band isn't the problem, but I know that you'd rather just know what the problem is, so that you can look towards a solution.

Uh, yeah, it's that simple enough. The scope showed a band that is soooo unremarkable that my surgeon has cancelled the surgery. Seems like good news, but it means that my unresolved GYN issues are becoming a digestive-eating issue. OB_GYNs run from me like I have the plague. I'm going to say a little prayer and try again to find someone to address these pelvic masses that seem to be causing intestinal blockages.
I would be jumping for joy, but I've spent a lot of money, had a lot of useless tests and the way I feel hasn't changed one bit -- except I have a bad cold.
Because "back" is a bad place ... we go ONWARD!

Just think how much you'll appreciate summer!
Oatmeal, latte
leftover chile colorado, a few baby carrots
chocolate pie for afternoon snack
I think for dinner, I'm going to sautee some tilapia, put it over a bed of baby greens, then top with the leftover Cowboy Caviar, and a few pieces of avacado. Gotta use up that salsa!

Work, I thought it was hilarious when you were told to "go back to your island". It was like they were saying (ominously), "We know where you live...bwah ha ha."

Very cool, Chelle! I love it! I had never heard of an "ambigram" before, and had to Google it to see what you were talking about.

Sorry, you have a mess like that, hon! I'm sure there are plenty of situations, like that. Good luck, on getting your money! Some of these doctor's, really, make me wonder! Keep us posted, Carole!

I'm opening my email and I get a notice from my insurance company about a claim they received and paid.
Yup. That's right. The doctor I went to see for a consultation - but didn't really get to talk to - charged me $150.00 at the time of the visit because I'm a self-pay patient. Then they turned around and billed my insurance company. They did not use a bariatric surgery related code so my insurance company paid the claim.
That's right. The doctor's office got paid twice for the same office visit. Even though he didn't even spend 5 minutes consulting with me.
I've called the insurance company who said that they have to assume the doctor's office used the correct code and under that code it is a payable charge. Which means, as far as the insurance company is concerned, I'm owed a refund of $125.00 from the doctor's office.
I've called and left two message. Of course now that they know I know they owe me money it's probably going to take some doing to get my call returned.
I should have followed my gut instinct and stayed away from his office.
