Thanks Marcia. I'm going to call them again this morning and if I don't talk to someone by noon I'll call the credit card company and dispute the charge. One way or another I'll get my money back. I was really worried, though, about the charge being approved by the insurance company - because I know it shouldn't have been. Clearly the doctor's office coded the office visit as something other than an applicable bariatric surgical code. But according to the insurance company it isn't my problem. She said that even with me telling her what the appointment was for they go by what code the office uses on the claim. So unless the doctor's office changes the code the claim is a payable charge and I'm owed money back. I just know that some how or another this is going to come back to bite me in the butt. This is not going to be the end of this headache.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the weather up North is frightful ... a true old fashinod winter for sure ..this is the only time of year I like living downsouth but they say we just might get some freezing rain tonite if the temps drop low enough. I get the WEAU (EauClaire Wi ) weather report evey morning and it is way below 0 up there last night and today the winds are going to make it feel like more than 40 below 0 the weather man says!! Every now and then I might mention engine heaters with electrical plugins sticking outside the cars , going to work with square tires,putting gas solvents in the cars to keep the gas from freezing giving it the gas to try and plow thur the snow (a couple of times I did not make it and got hung up now that was really scary ) drifts blowing up on the roads and making big snow banks huge snow squalls and white outs .. out in the country it piles up on roads from the winds especially from the fields .. This is the price tp pay .. kind of a trade off for the specacuar springs. summers and falls ... up by Hayward Wi in the great Northland I used to laugh at the snow birds up there.. they come by the thousands Texas, Illinois Southern wi and southern Mn even Tennessee and Kentucky, to open up their cabins every spring and start heading back south around Halloween every fall.. now I want to be one!!... HaHa good day for home made soup!

Good morning Frances !! Keep searching ~ ask lots of questions ,research everybody ,every where, reach out and ask for help and referrals to everyone you talk to call, call c,all . You may even have to search nearby states .leave no stone unturned, you deserve good care and a good doctor (surgeon)who is capable and willing to help you with yourGYN issues .. a digestive eating disorder makes me think maybe you need someone who has experience in that field also or a collague willing to step in and assist in your long suffering problem.. seems like it is not going to get any better without some sort of intervention You owe this battle to yourself, your loving daughter (and possibly your future Grandkids) and your Hubby! please take the best possbile care of yourself try to stick to foods you are able to manage to stay nourished and keep up your strength,and keep on searching ((((HUG)))) When the road gets tough . the tough gets going

Wow....I've become a Dr. Oz follower ( I love that Man!) so I've made every appt. that I've been avoiding for years...... The appointment you had would just put me over the top - that is an awesome set of results and definitely what a driving factor to the band!! Congrats......you're so there!!!
