Aw, honey, it WILL get better! I hope everthing will be fine with your Mom! I'll pray for her, if you don't mind! Well, unfortunately, none of us, are getting any younger! At least we had the opportunity to get a little healthier, right?

No point in my naming brands as ours will be different, but I agree that getting something from the doc is going to be more effective than an OTC drug. I used to get them badly (don't now, not weight related as stopped before I lost any, don't know why!) and the OTC meds never had any real effect. Kate

Topic: How have we all done?
The only thing I regret about this board is that we don't have signatures. We are all vets and so have all got success stories but we don't know always what they are. And as I dropped out of the main LB board ages ago, I am out of touch. Anyone fancy sharing? Here's mine! Heaviest ever 294 Banded May 2006 at 248, US dress size 24, BMI 43 Currently 148, US dress size 10-12, BMI 24.8 Maintaining happily for 6 months in the 145-154 range. Kate

Vicki, are you sure you have all this right? We have it on excellent authority that the band doesn't work!!! Fantastic results, haven't had any tests recently but hope mine may be even nearly as good. Kate

Well it is good to know one more thing it ISN'T! But you must have been hoping so much for an answer. My thoughts are with you. By the way, it is so great to be communicating with you again - I missed you when I left the LB board - even though you were consistently rude to me!!!!! (Don't get upset, anyone else reading this - F and I had our own discourse about being British.) Kate

I am very naive about all this stuff? How do you recognise her? Kate
