I wi**** were that easy for me. I have a Dr. appt this morning downtown DC, then I have to make the hard choice of whether or not to go to work. I guess if I can make it to my Dr.s appt. I can make it to work. I would have to use my own leave anyway, so I will probably go in. It is frustrating.

Frances - you have always been an icon for me. The strong woman type, which I always strive to be. I am sad to hear that you are so sick. It must be so defeating for you. I do pray that *someone* will be able to guide you in the right direction. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers for your pain but also prayers for the doctors that will be treating you. Lots of love and hugs and good thoughts are being sent your way. Take care and please keep us posted... when you can. Beth

That right folks - no school today. It snowed last night and now we are waiting for the ice storm to arrive. I feel like Sharon - lol. So, I will be on the board all day reading and catching up, I need to run (haven't done a darn thing since Monday), I have tons of laundry and cleaning to do too. But it is lovely to sit, drink my coffee, watch GMA and just relax. I got my crockpot out this morning, threw in some chicken, fajita mix, onions, peppers and later some black bean (hope it tastes ok) should I put the black beans in now? Well, enough about me... what is on your plate for today?

OMG. I had the esophageal manometry test done in January. It was without a doubt the worst procedure I ever had to endure. The guy came back and said that I either had reflux or schleroderma. I then saw a GI doc who said that I didn't have either one. So it was not only painful but it was useless.
I am so sorry you are going through all this. It seems you have to pursue both options - gynecology and oncology - but it sure sounds like gynecology is more likely.

This is just plain stupid. I would complain to the hospital administration anyway. If you weren't so far away I would make you an appointment with my doctor here on Long Island. How about coming up to New York?
