I use it all the time but I know there's so much more to it. I think most of the Microsoft products are intuitive at a starting level, but if you really want to use them extensively, you'll get a lot out of a class!

Sorry you had a bad night...sometimes there's no explaining a little swelling.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

Thanks Vicki,
I waited it out and just had some tea. That really made me feel better.

I vote for taking the class too. I think it would be really helpful. It's not enough to do Excel with a Dummies book...
Topic: Big Medicine - Melina band
I had questions abour the Big Medicine show that had the woman they were revising from the "Melina band." So, I checked with my surgeon's patient advocate (she and I are friends so we email back and forth a lot). Here is her reply:
I came in the next day and asked Srikanth about it. The Melina band was created by Dr. Melina in Texas many many years ago, it is basically a rubber band that is placed around the stomach that is non-adjustable, he said it did not work well at all.... Srikanth couldn't believe that they left it in, and still revised her to a bypass.
So, mystery solved. It was nothing like the lapband!

Topic: In KC this week
Hey everyone,
Just a quick note to let you know I am off to KC in the morning. I will have my government laptop with me, but since my 2nd level boss will also be in KC - I don't think I will have much free time.
I'll jump on the board if I get a chance, if not - I'll talk to you all next weekend!

Hey Marcia,
My guess is, since you aren't feeling well your body is underhydrated and that is what caused the problem. I know when I have any type of illness, my body needs all the fluids I give it to fight the illness and I am more likely to have food issues.
If this is it, you will probably be better in a day or so. Just stick with warm fluids for 24 - 48 hours.
