I think we all go through those phases......and I think it's ok as long as we own it and do something to change it (OMG, I'm watching too much Dr. Phil). I started over yesterday.....actually went back to mushies on my own, just so I could get my portions under control. Eating around the band is easy - but I have to say that I like that I can do it without any problem from time to time. Sometimes, you just need a little cheesecake!!
Good luck getting back on track....I always feel good when I've lose a couple of pounds - it spikes up your energy level!
Topic: RE: Another troll.....
I have no doubt she is obsessed with this board. She wants so badly to post here she looks at PEI daily. But I am so glad that she has resorted to trolling and so she cant out herself and be here. Thats why the R&R board isnt for me....just knowing she is there and the toxicity that she breeds.....no thanx.

Oh boy....you've really got your hands full.....I feel for you. I had a couple of herniated disks that I was getting steroid infections for right around the time I got my band. The pain was all in my leg though it was from the back. The Dr. i go to is an anestheisiologist (referred by my PCP). At my first appt., he gave me a large supply of muscle relaxers and a script for Lortabs (highest strenth) - 60, until I could get in for the shot (about 4 days later). After the shot, he gave me a script for 120 more, with 3 refills. I told him he had given me the script earlier in the week and he told me to hang on to it just in case....no need to be in pain. The 120 was a mo's supply.
Every 3 months he did the same thing. Just for the record, they're addicting as hell. I only took one a day unless I was in really bad shape but it was tough to get off of them. I know what it is to be in pain, but be careful what you wish for. And by the way, Tramadol is also really addictive, even though there are no side effects. Your body starts to get a boost of enerfy from them.....I know several people who have been addictied to it.
I say this having taken a tylenol w/ codiene a few minutes ago for a somewhat annoying toothache, so please don't take this as a lecture on pain meds. I always keep a supply on hand and would immediately switch to a new Dr. if he didn't treat my pain!! I'd deal with detox if I had to.....just wanted to share the story with you.
Now, for the lawsuit.....excuse the expression, but that's just pure bull**** Your comment about the liquor store is a great analogy. What's next, you'll have to go to an infirmary every morning to get your pill? What crap.....
Anyway....I hope you get some kind of relief.....If not, may I recommend Grey Goose?

I think we all tend to think "stretched pouch" when we start eating more. That is rarely the case. It's just more food dropping through quicker because we are looser.

I think she meant that the 20cc was in a test band, not inside a person. I've known a few people who have more than 5cc's in their 4cc bands.

Wow...I never knew that! I'm due for a fill soon.....good topic to discuss w/ my Doc. Of course 2 plus years out, I'm still at less than 5 cc's in my 10 cc band so I'm not too worried about maxing it out yet!
Topic: RE: Interesting band report!
Wow! I had heard of people having 5 in a 4cc band but thought that was the limit!

Topic: RE: Lost My Job Toady!
Oh, that's really bad news Ron. Very sorry to hear it. My company is going though major layoffs in the next month and everyone is really on edge. It's a very stressful time for so many.
At least we know that you're very talented and if I hear of anything/anyone that is in need of any of your services, I'll happily pass the info along!
Hope you find something even better!!

That is really really interesting. How many times do we see bandsters freaked by saline numbers? or wondering if they are at the end of their restriction? What good news this is.
