Restriction for us vets.....
Do you find the longer out you are that restriction seems to be a moving target? I know so many factors go into restriction but lately I have been really tight. I tried to eat wheat chex yesterday morning and that was a no-go....ended up spitting for a bit and coughed up some saliva, no food just the alien blob that was living in my chest.
Today I licked the spoon off banana bread I was making and I've been spitting for 2 hours. I haven't had a fill since early February....do you think I'm the result of a fill kicking in weeks later?
I go back to my dr on friday, I'm sure I'll be loosened up by Tues or Wed....it just seems like it's loose/tight/loose tight.
I certainly don't need a fill, I know that....if I got one I bet I won't be able to drink or eat!
Thanks everyone...enjoy your day......

Stress affects me big time. I have had a stressful weekend, but mostly lots going on around the house. DH doing carpentry work and I clean up afterwards, just because it's been tracked through the house. Crappy weather, shoveling snow, downpouring cold rain while trying to clean the ice off my car.....yesterday wasn't a good day.
my restriction varies from day to day, from time to time and never seems to be the same............but it's all pretty good. Exercise (of any kind) tightens me up for several hours, so going out to dinner after s not my best idea (found that out the hard way)............and sometimes I can have a big lunch or dinner and sometimes not....no rhyme or reason, so I just go with whatever is happening.......last night I sat down for dinner with my sister and her husband (he was banded last spring) and about 5 bites into my meal my stomach started gurgling...........okay....I was done.....and I stayed full all night.....in fact, I'm just going to have breakfast now and it's already 1:40 in the afternoon (new time).
The varying from meal to meal is sometimes hard to deal with. I find it hard because I will really look forward to dinner, something I may not have had in a while, or something I know I will enjoy...what happens? I get stuck on it the first few bites, or I get stuck earlier in the day and then I can't eat dinner.
I try to be so careful but sometimes it's for nothing. Overall I think my restriction is pretty good....since I've been stuck I have had nothing but coffee and likely will have no food today. If only that would help me break my plateau...not!
Honey, I've never been real tight, and able to eat anything! Well, with the exception, of apple skins, and white bread. Since maintaining, my fill still is holding great! It's been about, well, way ovr a year, since I had a fill. my fills have always lasted a long time, though! Wow, sorry, hon, I can't help you with that. Took several of my fills, over 3 weeks to kick in. Let us know what your Dr. says, hon!
