Double post: Saying "hmmm?" but having surgery
Ah yes...the infamous 'left-side-of-the-body' pain. I'm so sorry, Frannie. You know how much I love you and this just plain ol' sucks. On so many levels. I'm here and you can certainly call me. I, too, was debilitated. In fact, I couldn't even finish up the school year. Other folks had to do my final grades for me. I have whole stretches of time that are just gone...poof! Two doctors have told me since that I was very close to sepsis...losing time is one of the symptoms. Thanking my lucky stars that I did have folks who were understanding. Maybe speaking to me on the phone (our computer tech gal who was trying to put in my grades) and me being unable to put thoughts (let alone sentences) together coherently told them this was damned serious. You are not alone. I'm so glad I'm between classes in grad school and have been able to read the boards. I see many folks in despair. And I see the crush of loving friends giving support and heart-felt love. Makes me feel very warm inside. Bless you, my friend.
Hello, darling Chelle! I'm fine. I'm between two classes in grad school and loving this break!!! lol (Psst...I'm too old for grad school, but I'm pretending like I'm not.)
I have been meaning to tell you that Nathan is dating one of the Pflugers. He is dating one of the granddaughters. She is graduating this spring too and is thinking of returning to help with the ranches...she's some kind of biologist/chemist! Brilliant gal!
How is Miss Chelle doing these days?

That is cool news about Nathan, and I have such respect for anyone who goes back to school.
I'm doing good, just working a lot and playing even more. Have been rather naughty on my eating and lazy on my exercise due to the cold that simply won't give up, but I am refocusing a bit at a time and will get there.
I went to Ireland for business a few weeks ago and totally fell in love with the country. How can we in America understand world history when we've never climbed the steps up the castle? Wow I want to go back!
Just have to put my 2 cents in on this too...the DS'ers really helped me a few weeks or so ago when I was toying with the idea of taking my VSG to the next step. They were giving me good information and never behaved rudely toward me. And here I am a lap-band/VSG/loonatic! LOL Seriously, I would hate to think anyone ever judged ME on the basis of certain DEEmons and LB10100011100011 posters! lol
