terms of service

From OH's Terms of Service....apparently they need to be reminded of their terms because I don't see it being enforced: Posting & Chat Room You agree that you will not use ObesityHelp.com to post any material which is knowingly false or defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, libelous, invasive of another member's privacy, or is otherwise in violation of any law. URLs to other forums, boards, or websites containing such information will not be allowed to be linked from our site. Members cannot impersonate another person, including an ObesityHelp staff member. Posting or responding to a message in a way clearly intended to incite anger, useless arguments or rants, or for launching personal attacks and insults, being hateful, giving useless criticism, name calling and using profanity is cause for possible removal of membership. ObesityHelp reserves the right to edit posts that may violate the terms of service herein. Use of this free service, which is open to public registration, is done so as a privilege and not as a guaranteed right. The original poster has the right to request the entire thread they started be removed, within a reasonable amount of time.

I do wish we had a "report" button on this forum. We have to actually e-mail OH to get their attention.

Things that make you go...hmmmmmm...... I'm sure they're looking in here by now. I don't expect this to go on for much longer. There have been posts removed and OH is behind that, I'm sure. I hope they clean this up before the weekend is over.

Well, as far as insults, I'm guilty of that, I called them "Inbred!" That is NOTHING, compared to them, though! I'm also, NOT apologizing!

Supposedly they have acknowledged it with a dismissive "further investigation is not needed or helpful" huh? Her BS wouldn't fly on the main board but here it gets a pass since OH doesn't think bandsters should get a vet forum. PE island is renegade--I'm sure that's what this is about. That is why they won't police us.

I sent a note to Eric Klein...we'll see if it gets any response. I've found that OH just doesn't do it for me anymore...I love the people here, but I'm totally turned off by the fact that they turn aside any concerns we mention yet cater to everyone else. Truthfully, if I leave I will tell everyone I know....including my doctor, why I've made that choice. We'll see.
