Saturday Morning....New Start

No plans, just relaxing. I would love to be tackling a home project, but financially, it's not the best time. Weather is great, so I probably will do some gardening. Our next project will be our deck/patio. We have a 2 story house, and the deck runs the entire back of our house. Our bedroom opens up onto it, so it could be nice, but it's kind of a mess and needs to be redone. I want to put a little sitting area out there. The Country Club does nice fireworks shows on the 4th and for weddings. We'd have a perfect view.

Considering the weather, I'm seeing some serious relaxing in my weekend, too! My view right now is a lot of fallen branches....some mine, some my neighbors...etc. Can't wait for the fall cleanup!!

I am not leaving Ann. I will check out Ron's new board, but I am so bad with change. It took me a year of reading OH to join and post! The more boards we have the more repeat posts, and I never know where to respond to people. I think I'll just stay put.

I hear you...I signed on to Ron's board but have already forgotten my p/w. I'll reach out to Ron or Marcia for a reset! I like it here...and I love and respect the Island inhabitants......so I'm in for the long haul. I can tolerate the 'issues'. My Goal is to hang out here and relax and enjoy the relationships that we've formed.

Morning! I will be on here, as always, and just visit Ron's once in a while! Hope you have fun, hunting for carpet! I never know what, I'm looking for, either, but when I see the right thing, it like jumps out at me! ha Lots of weather, today, 6 inches here, again, so going nowhere. VERY windy! Hope you ALL achieve whatever you are doing, and Susan, take it easy. I've been trying to go through EVERYTHING, cupboards, closets, tables, and such, and I can't believe the stuff, I'm finding! ha It's going to take a while, as I'm really busy, but I hope, I have plenty of time, before a move! Have 3 crocks going with meals, for 3 families, down on their luck from church. So, many without jobs, nowdays! So...have a good one, whatever, you're doing!

Thanks Sharon, That is so nice of you to take care of others that are down on their luck. Home cooking is such a wonderful gift.

That's why I have so many crock pots! ha I cook a LOT for ppl, who are shut-ins, or ill, and so forth, as they all helped me, when I was SO sick! Unfortunatley, there are always many, who are worse off, than ourselves! I have the time, so might as well put it to good use!

Okay Sharon....what have you got going in all those crocks?

Well, I have chicken chili, in one, a pork roast with veggies, in one, and a (smoked butt), in one, with baby carrots, new pot, and cabbage. They will feed 10 ppl, and have some leftovers. I watch for meat on sale, and different things, and pick them up, when I can! I don't do this, every week! ha

Chicken chili sounds sooo good!
