My dilemma...

I am sorry you are going through this Rose. My major problem is the reflux. I am going to have a heart to heart with my Dr. and then I will make up my mind. Take it easy and I hope that the esphogus issues are resolved soon no matter what choice you make.

I'm sorry you are having issues Rose. You have a lot to think about. I was curious...when you say you have swallowing issues, how does that feel? I'm just wondering how one would know they are having issues? I know that sometimes I have that first bite issue. Sometimes I don't have that problem. I was just curious. Rose, I have no wisdom, on this, but I hope all of your problems, are resolved, very soon. Unfortunately, anyone who has WLS, is open, for problems. You do what is best for YOU, and know, I'm thinking of you! Just a note, I will say, what I like here, I don't car WHO, is lurking, or what they say about it!

My surgeon said the same thing about malabsorption. I think he said that if that was the surgery that I chose he would only take out about 10cm of small intestine. I hope that this new doc works out good for you and that what ever you decide you are happy with the results. I have a couple of friends that had the rny and they are totally happy with their results and the way that they feel.
