I'm using the BLOCK feature

I have never felt the need to use it, but because we've been invaded, I"m using it. You all can do what you want, but I'd like to keep the island the way we intended it....

Yep....I'm with you. I've had limited time on line this week so I had to drill down to find the 'invasion' but what a jackass. Actually, make that two potential jackasses. First, if some poor slob actually did take the time to forward a message to what I can only imagine is the 'spokesperson' with free time on their hands and the nastiest personality, that's so pathetic. If not, and she's just lurking here because she wants to be mean and start trouble, I don't need to see it. Aside from the Main Lapband board to offer support, rants and raves for a laugh, and here, because I like and respect every vet on this board, I've never gone to any other board. I can't imagine having enough time to go rag on DS'ers or anyone else - and by the way, I don't have any desire to, either! So....BLOCK it is!

Maybe their Board is really boring. I have no desire to read their board, I can't imagine why anyone without a Band would want to come here. We're not that exciting! Jealousy I guess...

What happened. I've been in the hospital most of the day. Had my port replaced. What did I miss?

Hey LeaAnn, I'm sorry that folks got insulting. That's uncalled for and unfortunate. I didn't like it when Scott did it to me and I think it's just as inappropriate when it's done to you. Anybody that does animal rescue and helps save puppies is ok in my book.

Ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh! I have no life other than being vile and malicious to RNYers and lapbanders, yanno?!! And, NO, Susan was NOT the one that forwarded me that post. It was posted on the Renegades board -- yanno -- the vile and malicious yahoo group we have where not just ANYONE can pop in unannounced, and we can trash anybody we feel like trashing without them being able to see! *hint*hint*

I don't mind all the fun and *****iness on the Rants and Raves forum, but I don't understand coming here to stir things up. Someone very close to me just deactivated their account because of the stress from you guys posting here. We really just wanted a place for Lap Band vets (over a year) so that we can post and talk about whatever. We all knew that being banded is a lifetime commitment, and we want to openly share our experiences and concerns - without scaring off the newbies. AND without having to answer the same newbie questions day after day. We go over to the Lap Band form and answer their questions - just not all the time as we did when we posted there. I am really sad, that one of my friends who NEEDS support of other bandster vets, is leaving because you guys needed to post here, for whatever reason. Isn't OH supposed to be a support forum?

I can't hear you over all my mean and nasty vitamin deficiencies and my tits sticking straight out and all my *****iness. Guess maybe that "supportive" post I replied to here should've been on the R&R forum.

The person who left has never responded to a post of yours, or made any comment about you or any DS'er. This person needs the support of people who understand. Nobody should be so stressed out from people on a support forum that they have to leave.
