What would you do?
We've known about your little island for sometime. I didn't realize it was OH endorsed. However, it is still public so if someone wants to start flinging dung, don't be surprised if some get flung back. It has nothing to do with wishing anyone ill. I have nothing against Phyllis, and hope she gets her issues fixed.
EVERYBODY has known about the Island since we started so who cares what you know or when you knew it? Nobody flung anything your way...infact, who the hell are you? So its apparent you came over here for a fight. If you wish Phyllis well then do that and be on about our business....it might make what you say believable.
No, being a ***** isn't a bad thing. I am one too. You almost have to be, but I am a nice ***** until someone lets me know that I should no longer be a nice *****
I am glad your surgery works for you and any others that it works for. It just isn't for me. I would just have to stay fat. So for me there was no fight. I would fight to keep my intestines where they were meant to be.

"I would not get the DS, because those people are mean and nasty, and we don't want you to turn out like them!"
Hey! If being fat and (allegedly) sweet and happy and hanging with other fat and (allegedly) sweet and happy people is your goal, the band IS the way to go.
Otherwise, the sleeve is Part I of the DS.
In my many years of observing miserable banded people who were pretending to not be miserable, their REAL underlying problem was not with moving on...but in admitting (to themselves and their gung-ho buddies) that they could no longer pretend that the band was any good at all.
It's a gradual thing, First you blame yourself. Then you blame the band A LITTLE, but point out that whatever problem you had is really an exception...and then, after you lose more weight in two months than you can in two years with the band...and your doctors are offering to trade lab results with you, you realize that going along with the Cult of the Lap Band and its myths actually has the potential to hurt others...like it hurt you. And then you are free.
Have a nice journey.
