A RANT on our little island!

How high is gas going to go? Shocking isn't it? $3.39 today. I'll bet it will be $4.00 by summertime. How are the prices in your area?

In North East Maryland it is $3.10. Big oil companies are hearing cha-ching in their pockets that is for sure!

I paid 3.09 to fill up the Prius today - I will be selling the BMW soon, because it requires Premium gas.

It ranges in my area for the Iraqie Shackie (cheap crap gas) $3.19 a gal up to $3.55 a gal for premium at Shell. Its nuts. I bought a soda for the first time in years today at AM/PM ...I couldnt believe the price of that....in the past it was always .89, now its $1.49. Its cheaper to buy the 2 liter in the store than a fountain drink at a convience store.

Here in NY it ranges to about 3.45 or so for regular....BUT, I'm right on the border with NJ and got gas the other night for 2.93........and usually I get gas at Costco which is sometimes a penny or two lower than even in NJ...........it's outrageous...and scary at the same time.

Anita ~ in South Jersey I bought gas for $2.79 and in NJ they pump the gas for you! Not like in Maryland, that's for sure.

The station at my corner was $335.9 tonight. I went to a support group meeting and it was $339.9 in that neighborhood. Things won't change as long as Bush doesn't have to use his won money and pump his own gas... Our president has no idea what we pay for gas, for food at the grocery store etc. - nor does he care! He, the VP and all of their cronies have no idea how the average person manages. They only care about big business and more taxes for us...

$3.39? It's $3.47 here! But to be fair, I got the $.10 off at Safeway since I spent so much on groceries...

A station by my house was $3.42 last night! We've been paying over $3.30 for many months. I put about $90.00 a week in my car. It's sick. I worry about my kids and what the prices are going to be when they are adults! Salaries don't keep up with inflation, certainly not for my DH and I!!
