I'm normal...sort of
Thanks to everyone for all your good wishes on my recovery from this stinky flu. My temp has finally stabilized and I actually slept for the first time in a week without shivering all night. My appetite has returned although thankfully I really couldn't eat very much (is it possible for my pouch to shrink?)....but for some reason I'm only craving carbs (saltines to be specific). Have made sure to get protein and fluids in (before the saltines). Anyhow, although I'm really debilitated, I feel like I can go back to work tomorrow as long as I don't have to run any marathons.
So, today my plan is to try to build some stamina without overdoing. I'm going to take a nice hot shower, wash my hair and change my bed linens (again)....
Thanks for letting me moan and groan.....and next year....maybe I'll get a flu shot.

Awwww....I've been out of town for a few days so I didn't know you were sick. Hell, I could've come over and brought you some soup!!! Glad you're feeling better. I was at the Dr. last week and my Dr. couldn't believe that I was there for something other than the flu, or some other respitory thing!! It seems that everyone in the county has had some dose!
Stay hydrated.....and keep those antibacterial soaps flowing....... and not so much for you, but for the people around you. You don't want anyone to get you sick again while you're resistance is down!
Glad you are feeling better ! I got the flu shot and still got sick ... don't know what it was a cold or flu but my sinuses , ears and throat were hurting . I ran a low grade temp. but didn't have to go to the Dr. with it . My husband also came down with it ... it was more in his chest and he went to the Dr. and got medication for it . The change of weather is so crazy here its enough to make you sick . In the seventies during the day and then it drops to the 30's at night . One day cold the next hot . ~ Cindy
