I'm talking about vitamin and minerals and such. The more I read about ED (eating disorders, not the manly ED...LOL), the more I am amazed at the science of it. These docs do a full screen, food alergies, bacteria's, deficiencies, and other hosts. This determines why you might crave sugars and starches... you body actually is feeding more than emotions... it is more than a lack of willpower... what do you think/know? I am going to try to find someone that does this. It is all re aligning your diet so you don't feed these body abnormalities. Like for instance, I drink a cup of coffee in the afternoon to keep me going.... and what I might really be lacking is certain B vitamins. Just common sense stuff but an actual blueprint for your unique body. Share what you know, I'm all ears

http://www.aplaceofhope.com/organic.html this is one of many examples, but one of the options was a evaluation under eating disorder, and I scored 184....LOL I need a lock up... I know it would be hard for me to answer the same with a band, but if you are interested, check it out.

Hi Deb, Oher than the lab work my surgeon does (which I think checks every flipping vitamin in my body!), no I have not. I really do mean that about my surgeon. I have my labs done every six months - they take about six vials of blood and check all my vitamin levels It's standard procedure for my doc. Although, the link you sent me is for a local group. And I swear, they were at a healthy living type even that was put on in our building. If I am right, I stopped over there and did there survey type thing. They started to tell me how I didn't eat enough - yep, I don't eat enough! So, I had to explain to them my eating habits. At that point, they started trying to sell me on how they could help monitor all my levels to help me continue to be healthy. I'm sure there can be some good from places of this nature, but it felt more like a business to me. If you do this, you have to tell us how it worked out! Vicki

Deb, I had what my doctor called a "Full lab work up," last year, and that is why, I'm on iron twice a day, now! I also, take a baby aspirin, a day, and fish oil, twice a day, and Vit. C!~ I eat blueberries, everyday, for the antioxidents, and drink green tea, for the same reason! Plus, my multi-vit.! ha
