Exercise anyone?
I just went three miles but I played with the walking/running sequence to change things up a bit. I can do about 3.2 miles in 50 minutes - not very fast, but for me, my time is getting faster. I don't even feel like I am getting a good workout if I don't go at least 3 miles now. What is up with that? Ok everyone... how did you move today?
Would you believe I'm actually going to get on the treadmill tonight . I've comitted myself to at least 3 x's a week because I feel like that is the missing part of the puzzle for me!! Dr. Boe even said imagine what I would be if I actually incorporated excercise! I know as I move closer to maintnence, this will be crucial for me!!! So, I have to suck it up and start moving my behind!! lol

I did an hour of physical therapy this morning, whi*****ludes some weird step machine and a bike, and one legged squats, and weights and whatever other evil he can concoct. Tonight I am having a major problem with restless legs, so I need to either go ride the bike or take some vicodin.
I think I will go try to ride the bike a bit.
I actually did some lower body total gym work today. Of course I have been eating a lot of sf/ff pudding with s/f coolwhip. When I was on the way to the grocery store after I saw my spine xrays I considered buying a half gallon of cherry cordial ice cream, nuts and choc syrup and/or a bottle of vodka, but I settled for the pudding and some WW giant fudgesicles. And I feel virtuous.
I've had the back pain for nearly three years now and it isn't much worse. In fact it IS better since I have gotten rid of nearly 50 lbs. So I have to figure it WILL get better when I lose another 50 in spite of the rather jaded Neurosurgeon. (who quit doing "head" surgery because he got called all night... etc. TOO MUCH trouble for him I guess.
